The past few days have been really hectic. With my sister giving birth, and me having to work and study at the same time, worrying about the many things that I have to do, I have found an ally in God, and in the two new tools I really use: Ta-da and Backpackit (thanks to Sacha and Planner Mode). I just really have a new perspective into organizing the things I need to do, and somehow time management seems like so much fun again.
A couple days ago I had a talk with my former nanny... She had been living the christian life, and I have had shared with her my walk with Christ. I had such a really joyful moment, something that I had been missing for a long while. I would really have wanted to talk to her more -- I had been learning a lot about God's power, and he will of man being not enough for our salvation. But then I don't have all the time in the world, and I also need to work hard because my sister just gave birth. I know she and my dad needs all the help I can give them. And I choose to help with everything that I can.
I just hope she takes my suggestion for the child's name though -- Daniel Jean Berris. But it sounds a little androgenous or feminine even. Just realized it when I wrote it down and read it. :D Now I changed my mind, I know she can come up with something more creative than that. :D
The title of this post is "Somewhere I Belong" -- and when I go to Sunday Service and to the church for 1 to 1 discipleship, and even when I see my churchmates, I feel like I definitely belong. Of course, I feel like I still have a lot of learning to do, and a lot of cleaing up and straightening up to do to get closer to Him. But I know that's part of it -- I have to live the life God planned and made me to live.
I really want to thank Miss Inna for getting me started on to this walk with Him. To my discipler(s) Alexi and Jeremyr, and to my friend Johanna -- thanks for being there for me, and believing in me and my potential. I hope I won't disappoint you guys.
And to Yannie, I hope you also find the joy that I have found in Him and His love. I hope we can bring Him more into our relationship so that we get to live and grow in His grace. I'm definitely looking forward to the services we will attend together. :)
I have found the road I was made to walk, and now I am happy to walk with Him. I know he won't leave me alone, and that He shall always be there. I surrender my life to Him, for I know that He has a will that shall be done.
CHill...

ReplyDeletehave a good one at the conf.
that's not right... :D Thanks sir! :D
ReplyDeleteDude, your blog just reminded me how I was when I started my walk with God. May I maitain a fervor just like yours.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing in this world that we can do to clean ourselves up and fix our lives. Human effort is not enough - we need a supernatural change to happen. We tend to think we need to straighten up before we get close to God but really, it's the other way around :) Get close to Him and allow Him to teach you and straighten you out. We don't have to strive and struggle to live the life He wants us to live - God loves breaking our limited human mindsets - when we lay down our life for Him, the Lord gives us a new one worth living. :D
Live life to the full! (John 10:10)
Have a great one Deanerts!
